Snood Scarf

On the chilliest of winter days, the last thing you want to have to do is fiddle with hats and scarves. A snood is a tubular scarf with a hood sewn into the nape that is pulled over the neck and head for extra warmth. The traditional version of snood refers to a special type of hair gear which covers the hair and creates a hood at the back of the neck. Since the 21st century however, the term snood has more commonly referred to a neck scarf which is worn by both men and women. This snood scarf is also one of the key looks in fashion accessories for the season. Snoods are not only for winter, it can be worn all season. It can even be used to replace your statement necklace.

Snood scarf is elegant and very functional. Unlike traditional scarves, these special tube neck scarf’s can be altered to cover either just the neck, the neck and lower half of the face, or even cover the entire face, neck and back of the head. Also, they can be styled in more than one way. They’re especially useful if your favorite jacket, such as a peacoat, doesn’t already have a hood. They also look great with leather jackets and cardigans. They’re also great if you’re not a fan of hats or earmuffs, but are looking for a way to protect your head from the cold. But if you want to wear, keep in mind to avoid candy colours and go for urban tones. Whether you want to wear it in cold season or not, this kind of lovely scarves are great for everybody!
