With March here, springtime is in sight and so is a change in your style.  With more hours of daylight and higher temperatures, gone will be the days of shielding against the elements.  But because sometimes the shift from season to season can be drawn-out and unpredictable, we’re here to give you a few fashion tips to make the transition a bit smoother.

The days are getting longer but you’d like your skirt to get shorter.  With cooler weather still hanging out, this can be a bit tough.  Try pairing some neutral colored leggings with your skirt.  The leggings will provide extra warmth and the neutral color wont distract from the skirt itself.  If it’s a bit drizzly still, try some rain boots with your outfit.

Since the temp is rising you won’t need that heavy down jacket anymore.  You could go sleeveless but still keep some warmth in with a vest.  But, without your big coat, a breeze or any rain could make you miserable.  A windbreaker or denim jacket could easily help you out during a light rain shower, or try a lightweight trench coat for a more formal setting.
